Jillian Thistle, Founder – Accounting Technician & Bookkeeper
Jillian holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honors from the University of Western Ontario. After making a pivot from the Masters of Library Science program in 2010, Jillian pursued an Accounting Certificate from Fanshawe College. One could say she traded one set of books for another! Working towards the certificate part-time, while operating a bookkeeping business and raising a family, she graduated with the President’s Honour Roll in 2017. She founded Dahlia Accounting Services in 2011, which she successfully operated for 10 years before merging with Atlas Cove Inc. Jillian believes in pursuing higher education and will be a lifelong student. She is currently working towards a Bachelor of Commerce through Nippissing University. She finds joy in “making the numbers make sense” and alleviating accounting stress from her clients.
When Jillian isn’t working away on client paperwork, you can find her with her family, likely camping in their tiny trailer “Mighty Matilda” in one of the Ontario Provincial Parks, or with her husband, two children and two pups scouring a beach somewhere for sea glass and driftwood.
